Who is responsible

MedSpa List (medspalist.us) is responsible for the personal information handled on the site, and its owner answers at info@medspalist.us. No single federal privacy law covers a site of this kind in the United States, so this page explains in plain terms what we collect, why, and how you can have it removed. Personal information is never sold or shared for advertising.

What we collect and why

Visiting the site passes us your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, which we use only for security and to keep things running. Writing to us gives us your email address and message, so that we can answer. If you use a form to put a question to clinics, only the clinics you pick get your name, how to reach you and what you wrote. Clinics with an account give us a sign-in email and the details of the clinic, which we need to keep its page and plan running.

Please keep health information out of everything you send: no photos of your face or body, no medical records, no list of medicines or conditions. We have no use for it and remove it if it arrives. We are not a health care provider, and nothing sent through the site becomes part of a medical record.

Cookies and advertising

The site carries no advertising: no AdSense, no other ad network, and neither advertising nor analytics cookies. Cloudflare counts visits without cookies. One technical cookie exists, to keep a clinic logged in to its account.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides hosting, security, visit counting without cookies, and our email. Cloudflare Turnstile tells people from bots on our forms. Stripe processes payments for clinic plans and keeps card numbers on its own systems, out of our reach.

How long we keep it

Browsing data: kept briefly, for security only. Emails: until your message has been handled. Account data: while the account stays open. Billing records: for the period tax and accounting rules require.

Seeing, correcting or erasing your data

You can find out which personal details we keep on you, and have them corrected or erased, by emailing info@medspalist.us. Residents of states with their own privacy laws, California among them, can exercise those rights at the same address. Some states, Washington for one, also regulate consumer health data. We do not request health information and never use any for advertising. If you are unhappy with our reply, you may raise it with the attorney general of your state.

Children

MedSpa List is meant for adults, not for children under 13, and we never knowingly gather data about them.

Any change in how we handle personal information will be posted on this page.
